Sony Introduces 18MP Point and Shoot Camera

Sony has announced three new point and shoot Cyber-shot cameras, including one that may be the most powerful ultra compact camera ever, in terms of resolution. The new cameras are:

  • DSC-TX200V. The interesting looking TX200V ($500, pictured here) includes 18MP of resolution as well as a 3.3-inch display screen with touch screen capabilities.
  • DSC-WX50. The WX50 ($200) has a 2.8-inch LCD screen and 16MP of resolution.
  • DSC-WX70. The WX70 ($230) has specifications that closely match the WX50, but the WX70 has a 3.0-inch LCD and touch screen capabilities.
